Matteo's Bio and Services

A Short Bio

I am a full professor at the Electronics, Information and Bioengineering Department of Politecnico di Milano since January 2015. I received my “Laurea” (MS equivalent) in Telecommunications Engineering and my PhD in Information Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 2000 and 2004 respectively. From September 2002 to March 2003 I have been visiting the Wireless Adaptive Mobility Lab at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) doing research on MAC design for ad hoc networks and quality of service in Wireless Personal Area Networks. In 2004, I received the Dimitris Chorafas Foundation Award in recognition of my doctoral thesis on “Packet Transmission in new Generation Wireless Systems: from UMTS to Ad-hoc Networks”. I'm the coordinator of the Master in Telecommunications Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and the vice-coordinator of the PhD Programme in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano.
